THE FUTURE IS FEMALE

The Future Is Female Festival invites individuals and theatre companies across the US to host productions or readings this March (2017) of ten-minute plays written by women of all backgrounds on the subject “the future is female,” and what that looks like and/or means to them.

All of the readings and shows will be performed under one unifying umbrella; by joining together in a shared festival happening simultaneously in numerous places, our voices will be louder. Instead of spending the month celebrating women’s history, we’ll celebrate women’s futures.

The Future Is Female Festival is a creation of playwright Mya Kagan.

Nu Sass will be presenting several new 10 minute plays written by local DC female playwrights, directed by DC directors, and performed by DC actors. We invite you to join us for the this amazing night of new theater!
